We custom fit a 14k gold or gold-filled chain to your wrist and weld it in place. The bracelet has no clasp and is “permanently” secured to your wrist. If at some time in the future you wish to remove your permanent bracelet, it can easily be cut off with scissors or cutters.

It will NOT hurt. Welding is a fabrication process whereby two or more parts are fused together using heat. Smaller materials and metals with a low melting point (such as gold) will require less energy to weld. We use very small 14k gold jump rings which allow us to use a very low energy micro-welder to complete the weld. The small amount of heat generated from this process is imperceptible to the customer.

Gold Filled wire is made by first inserting a core of supporting metal into a karat gold cylinder and then fusing them together into a single round rod. The round rod is drawn repeatedly through powerful wire reducing mills. Thus the rod is manufactured into a long wire.

No. Gold plating consists of a very small layer of solid gold applied to a brass base. The plating does not compose any measurable proportion of the product's total weight. It is estimated to be 0.05% or less of the metal product. Gold plating can wear off quickly and expose the brass base product. It does not stand up to heat, water or wear over time. By comparison, gold-filled contains 5% gold by weight. All the gold is on the surface which offers product protection from tarnish and wear.
